Charge Up New Jersey (NJBPU)
Charge Up New Jersey's statewide rebate covers $250 toward an eligible Level 2 smart charger, for any NJ utility customer. Here's eligibility and how it stacks with PSE&G's separate program.
ComEd
ComEd's residential EV charger rebate covers up to $1,000 (standard) or up to $2,500 (income-qualified). Funds are first-come-first-served and have run out before -- here's how it works.
Dominion Energy
Dominion Energy Virginia runs two separate EV charger programs: EV Charger Rewards (active, $125 + $40/yr) and an income-qualifying free-charger tier (currently closed). Here's the difference.
DTE Energy
DTE Energy's EV charger program is income-qualified only. DTE's official page does not publish a specific reimbursement amount -- here's what's actually confirmed and how to get a current figure.
Duke Energy North Carolina
Duke Energy North Carolina's Charger Prep Credit covers up to $1,133 toward electrical prep work -- not the charger itself. Duke also offers a separate charger-leasing option.
Eversource
Eversource runs separate EV charger rebate programs in Massachusetts (up to $1,700, managed-charging required, ends Dec 31 2026) and Connecticut ($1,500, now income-qualified only). Here's each program.
Georgia Power
Georgia Power's EV charger rebate is $150 per Level 2 (208/240V) charger, up to 2 per account. Installations must complete by Dec 31, 2026. Apply within 6 months.
PSE&G
PSE&G covers up to $1,500 for customer-side EV charger make-ready work, or up to $5,000 in deposit reduction for utility-side work -- but not the charger itself.
Salt River Project (SRP)
SRP's EV charger rebate is $250 -- an instant discount on 4 Marketplace chargers, or a mail-in rebate for 18 other eligible models. Capped at 2 chargers per account per 5 years. Doesn't cover installation.
Texas (no unified state program)
